Maxim Health Systems has been engaged by Atlantic Health to provide influenza and H1N1 vaccines this year.

· Clinics are intended to serve the patients of Atlantic Health Pediatric and Family Medicine practices.

·  Flu Mist may be given to patients ages 2 -49 years old who do not have underlying medical conditions (e.g. asthma, diabetes, etc.). Patients that should not receive live, attenuated flu mist can call 908-522-2091 periodically for updated information about  the availability of the injectable H1N1 vaccine.

· Patients under five years old that visit the clinics for the injectable seasonal influenza vaccine must bring a Standing Orders for Administering Influenza Vaccine to Children and Adolescents form, available at our office.

· Parents or guardians that accompany pediatric patients to the clinics are eligible for the H1N1 flu mist only if they meet criteria for being at high risk for flu complications.
